HO'S FOOLING WHO....This was the first event ever to be organized by NGOMA INC.it featured three of the most popular drummers in the citWy of Nairobi ie. MATHEWMATIX,CAREY AND GEORGY competing for supremacy in the local setting.The judges included Papy Mpiana,Kidum and the Legendary Romeo Komeni.The event was held at the Nairobi cinema on the 28th of october 2007.Being the first event,it was considered as a success with the auditorium being three quaters full and the crowd as jubilant.................................................................................................................................................THE NGOMA JAZZ FEST....This was a concert that featured five of the most talented instrumental artistes in the city of Nairobi ie. IZZO,AARON,MYSTIQUE FUSION.JUMA TUTU AND DANGER.There was also a feature by ngoma incs first project of whos fooling with an act of three drummers 'a must see perfomance'.the show started with juma tutu(sax),who did two powerful acts.Then cameDanger who stepped up to prove to Kenyans that bass players are artistes too-you need to hear this three piece perfomance.As if that was enough,Izzo came on stage todisplay jazz can be played with a dynamic mood.He started with a duo act together with senior musician Eric Wainaina with an acoustic version of th e song DAIMA,then he gave a taste of his own composition...ohh what a splendid perfomance
